BEAUTY | NARS Essentials
NARS ESSENTIALS
NARS would have to be one of my favourite brands. If you don't own much or want to invest in some key products - I think these products are a good start. These are my NARS essentials and favourites at the moment.
I start off with the Copacabana illuminator and you can mix this with your choice of liquid foundation. Once on the skin, it really allows for a dewy surface and gives your skin a lovely finish. I then go on with Laguna Bronzing powder and contour my face - below my cheekbones, edges of my face and under the jaw line. The great thing about this bronzer is that it can be very subtle but also very durable - it stays on all day. It's my favourite - as you can tell I need to buy a new one. I then take the Orgasm Blush and put it on the apples of my cheeks - AND I also put it on the crease of my eyelid. It seems weird, but it will really create a natural look as it ties in with the colour of your cheeks. This make-up all together creates a really light, every-day look - as you might tell from the finished look above. Lastly, I use the Montego Bay Pure Matte Lipstick. Usually I find that Matte Lipsticks dry out my lips and even get a bit chalky - but this one isn't as bad, and I use it daily. Although I do recommend putting on a lip moisturiser of some kind while putting the rest of your make-up on - as this prepares your lips for the matte finish and allows for the lipstick to go on smoothly.
